It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister
Khadije Sayad (Mother of Houda Maarbani and Mother-In-Law of Dib Maarbani)
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون
“Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return”
We ask Allah ﷻ to enter her into jannat alfirdous
Her Janaza will be today 20th March after Dhur prayer (1:04pm) in Omar Mosque
Please fulfill the rights of your sister and attend her Janaza and burial to benefit yourself.
We are shocked by the horrific terrorist attacks in Christchurch (New Zealand) today, Friday 15 March 2019, that took 49 innocent lives of peaceful Muslims while attending weekly Friday prayer . These barbaric and inhumane acts cannot be justified by any cause or any ideology, let alone false propaganda of Islamophobia.
Our hearts and minds are with the families and loved ones of the victims. May Allah SWT give them a place in Heaven, Ameen.
We request all Muslims to pray for the victims and their families and stay peaceful.
Such brutal acts must face redoubled efforts by people of all faiths and backgrounds to promote peace and justice. The political leaders need to take serious steps to encounter Islamophobia. Continue reading “Christchurch Terrorist Attack”
