We, The Muslim Community in Illawarra, are shocked by this horrific terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka on Sunday, 21 April 2019, which took lives of 290 innocent people while performing Easter Sunday Mass.This happened on a day sacred to Christianity.
Such acts of atrocity cannot be justified by any cause, ideology or religion.
Islam teaches us that if one takes a life of an innocent, it is as if that person has killed the entire humanity.
