Prophet ﷺ was asked about fasting the day of Ashura and he ﷺ said, “It will expiate the sins of the past year.” [Sahih Muslim]

Per the pre calculated calendar the 10th of Muharram is going to be tomorrow Monday 8th August.

Following local moon sighting of Australia it will be Tuesday 9th August.

Iftar will be served at Omar Mosque both days to cater for everyone inshaAllah
