Prophet ﷺ was asked about fasting the day of Ashura he ﷺ said, “I hope, it will expiate the sins of the past year.” [Sahih Muslim]

Per the pre calculated calendar, the 10th of Muharram is going to be Friday, 28 July.

Following the local moon sighting of Australia, it will be Saturday, 29th July.
