Eid Festival Tomorrow

We are excited to announce that the Masaajid in Wollongong will be having an Eid festival this year following Ramadan.

???? Unlimited rides: $35 per person (arm bands sold on the day, cash only).

Update for brothers and sisters following local moon sighting

For the brothers and sisters who follow local moonsighting, Masjid Omar Comittee would like to announce that the moon has not been sighted in Australia.

Eid will be on Thursday 11 April inshAllah.

Eid prayer will be held at

Masjid Omar Committee reminds brothers and sisters, as announced already, for those following calculation from ANIC, Eid is tomorrow 10th of April at UOW Sports Hub 7:30am.

Parking for Eid Prayer Wednesday 10 Apr

As it is a working day, we have been permitted to park only at P4.

P4 is at the Western Entrance of the University of Wollongong. You are allowed to drop off any family members in the drop-off lane in front of the Sports Hub, but then will need to park at P4.

P4 is 5-7 minutes walk from the hall, so please be conscious of time.

Please be respectful of the traffic and pedestrian management team. Fines will apply to those parking outside the designated P4.

Moonsighting

For the brothers and sisters following local moon sighting, the announcement will be made on Tuesday night (9 April), in case the moon is not sighted, a different venue will be announced for Thursday.
