Ramadan Activities

The atmosphere of Ramadan is unique at Omar Mosque. University of Wollongong attracts a lot of students each year. Therefore, due to the hard schedule at the university students at times are unable to arrange for iftar. Further there are a number of refuges settled in Wollongong as well. To let them feel at home, Omar Mosque arranges for Iftar (with the help of donors) every day throughout the Holy month of. There are around 200 people to break there fast every day. Further in the last ten days, Omar Mosque also arranges for the late night prayers (Qiyam Al Lail). After the prayer Sahoor is also offered to the attendees.
